The Technology Behind MiYOSMART

MiYOSMART lenses use HOYA’s innovative D.I.M.S. (Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments) technology. Each lens combines a central zone for clear distance vision with a surrounding treatment zone made up of hundreds of tiny segments. These create a gentle “myopic defocus” signal to the eye, which helps to slow excessive eye growth — the main cause of myopia progression.

In a 2-year clinical study, children wearing MiYOSMART lenses had an average **60% reduction in myopia progression** compared to those wearing standard single-vision lenses^*.
